Biography

I have two degrees in:

– Philology (methodology and pedagogics of teaching foreign languages), Khakasskiy State University, honors diploma, my specialty is “Teaching methodology. English language and literature. German language and literature. World literature”.

– Psychology, Saint Petersburg State University, honors diploma in “Ontopsychology”. 

Primary fields of expertise:

EAP – preparation for international exams such as IELTS, TOEFL, CAE;

ESP – English language for professional purposes (Hospitality and Tourism, Banking and Finance, HR Management, Healthcare, Metallurgy, Mining, IT, Crewing, Oil and Gas, etc.).

I worked in Moscow for more than 15 years, cooperating with such companies as Sberbank, Banca Intesa, IBS, Beeline, Mars, Golden Projects, Nornikel, Aeroflot, Servier, the newspaper “Izvestiya”, the Publishing company “Ontopsychology” and others. 

I designed programs for and was the academic director of the field “"English for Geosciences" at National University of Science and Technology “MISIS” - one of the leading engineering Universities in Russia. 

In 2019 I successfully prepared school graduates for participation in the Russian olympiad in Geography (one part of it was in English) and in the International olympiad in geography in China where they represented Russia.

I have been teaching English at ITMO university in the following fields:  "General English", "English for Academic Purposes" and "English for Special Purposes" since Autumn 2019. 

I know 5 foreign languages: English, Italian, Spanish, German, Ukrainian. 

I have International certificates for English proficiency and knowledge of English teaching methods: IELTS (Band 8), TKT 1, TKT 2, TKT 3, TKT CLIL, City&Guild SESOL Mastery Level (1st Class Pass).

Sometimes I write books and articles, do translations, participate in different conferences, write a column and present webinars about studying English in social networks.

I love life, my profession and the chance to help other people. 

I devote my free time to travelling, art and my friends.
