Biography

I started thinking of being an English teacher while studying at school. My first English teacher was a lady extremely experienced in methodology of teaching languages and she always tried to catch up with the grammar and lexical material students were missing. She influenced me a lot. This strategy is sure to help students to speak English correctly and fluently. As far as my strategies are concerned I have always used my teacher’s methods and I guess it has been my forte since I graduated from N.Krupskaya State Institute of Foreign Languages in Gorlovka in 1970. Since then I have worked in lots of different secondary and higher educational establishments. In 1984 I occupied a senior teacher position in Leningrad Institute of Refrigeration that became a part of ITMO University in 2012. Having teaching experience of more than 30 years I never met the same group of students as every person is an individual who needs their own approach to develop.
